U.S. Cellular Hosts Black History Month Art Contest with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria

More than 150 local Boys & Girls Club members are participating in this contest. Ten finalists will be chosen by representatives from the Boys & Girls Club and local U.S. Cellular leaders, and the Peoria community will be invited to vote for their favorites in local U.S. Cellular stores in February. Three winners will be chosen based on the voting results and will be announced at a special celebration ceremony in March.

U.S. Cellular’s Black History Month Art Contest is just another example of the company’s commitment to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria. Since 2015, the wireless company has donated $30,000 to this local club, as well as 10, new LG G Pad tablets, and associates continue to engage in ongoing volunteer opportunities that enable them to mentor and provide kids with hands-on learning experiences.
