U.S. Cellular helped host an end-of-school-year bash for members of Boys & Girls Club of Pekin featuring food, inflatables, music, a magic show and slime-making activities. Jeremy Test, U.S. Cellular’s store manager in Pekin, and club members Isaiah and JT Heyder, were among the more than 150 local Boys & Girls Club members and U.S. Cellular associates who took part in the fun. Last month, U.S. Cellular donated $10,000 to Boys & Girls Club of Pekin to provide K-12 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) educational opportunities to youth. In addition to the monetary donation, the wireless company engages in ongoing volunteer opportunities like this one.
