Care And Treatment Board Awards Funding To Local Agencies

More than $800,000 were recently awarded by the Peoria County Board for the Care and Treatment of Persons with a Developmental Disability.

The Peoria County Board for the Care and Treatment of Persons with a Developmental Disability (Care and Treatment Board) is pleased to announce it has awarded a total of $869,020 to four local agencies for the 2020-2021 service year.

Grant funding for the July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021 period are as follows:

  • Camp Big Sky, “Why Not Now?” programming - $33,300
  • Community Workshop & Training Center, Job Readiness Program - $207,000
  • Community Workshop & Training Center, Adult Day Developmental Training Program - $49,500
  • Easter Seals Central Illinois, Preventing and Improving Identification of Developmental Delays - $2,970
  • Easter Seals Central Illinois, Early Intervention Services in Natural Environments - $45,250
  • EP!C, Educational Services - $238,500
  • EP!C, Specialized Job Training - $292,500
