City Of Peoria: Thanksgiving Recycling, Trash, And Yard Waste Pick-Up Schedule Changes For November 25 And 26

The city of Peoria’s trash hauler, GFL formerly known as Peoria Disposal Company, will not collect recycling, trash, or yard waste on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 25.  This schedule change will delay service by one day for the remainder of the week. Residents with a Thursday pick-up will have their collection Friday, November 26, and residents with a Friday pick-up will have their collection Saturday, November 27.

As a reminder, to avoid missing a collection, recycling, trash, and yard waste containers must be set out as early as 3 p.m. the day before pickup and no later than 6 a.m. on your scheduled day.  After pickup, move your containers from the curb or alley within 24-hours. Place them in your garage or alongside your house or garage. Please do not leave containers on the street or sidewalk.
