City Of Peoria Treasurer’s Office To Close
After thorough discussions with local health officials, city of Peoria Treasurer's Office will be closed from March 17 till further notice.

Peoria, IL (March 17, 2020) After thorough discussions with local health officials, the city of Peoria Treasurer’s Office will be closing to the public, effective Tuesday, March 17th, 2020. Until further notice, the city of Peoria Treasurer’s Office will not accept payments in-person. All payments will need to be remitted through the mail to City Hall, 419 Fulton Street, Room 100, Peoria, Illinois, 61602 with the associated paperwork, or online, when available. The Treasurer’s Office will only accept checks through the mail. Cash payments will not be accepted.

Payments for the following fees and fines can only be remitted to the Treasurer’s Office through the mail with a check and the associated paperwork:
- Hotel, restaurant, and amusement taxes
- Business development district taxes
- Special service area taxes
- Retiree insurance payments
- Monthly parking fees
- Hood rental fees
- Motor fuel tax
- False alarm invoices
- Work order invoices
- Board up invoices
- Demolition invoices
- Payment plans
- Ordinance violations
- Catering fees
- Garbage fees
- Building permits
- Non-owner occupied property registration fees
- All licenses, except liquor licenses.
In addition to paying with a check and the associated paperwork through the mail, online payment options are available for the following fees and fines: code enforcement citations, the Stormwater Utility Fee, the Public Safety Pension Fee, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) certificates, and parking tickets.

Code enforcement citations can be paid at www.payquicket.com. Stormwater Utility Fees and Public Safety Pension Fees can be paid online at https://peoriastormwater.com/stormwater-utility/ways-to-pay/. EEO certificates and parking tickets can be paid through JetPay by going to www.peoriagov.org.
For sex offender registration or violent offender registration, please visit the Peoria Police Department at 600 SW Adams Street, Peoria, Illinois, 61602. Payments can be made with cash or check.
For liquor licenses, please contact the City Clerk’s office at (309) 494-8565.
For special assessments, please contact Accounts Receivable at (309) 494-8588.
