Community Development Department Remains Accessible Amid Pandemic

Staff at the City of Peoria Community Development Department continue to serve the public through the COVID-19 pandemic although there is no public access to City Hall. The Development Center is closed to visitors, but the Community Development Department is open for business and city staff are available via phone and email to assist homeowners, contractors, and developers through the development process.

Building safety is public safety. Processing permit applications and plan reviews remain a priority in the Community Development Department to ensure that structures are altered, developed, and built in a safe manner. Development Technicians are available to answer any questions on the development process during this time. Permit applications and plans can be submitted through email at CommunityDevelopment@peoriagov.org.
