Consumers Rate U.S. Cellular Highest for Network Quality in IL

For the 6^th time since 2016 and 22^nd time since 2006¹, U.S. Cellular^® (NYSE: USM) is the top ranked wireless carrier in J.D. Power’s biannual Wireless Network Quality Performance Study. The carrier was ranked #1 in the North Central Region, which includes its state-of-the-art network in Wisconsin and Illinois, and it is the only region that the company is eligible to receive this J.D. Power award.

The 2019 U.S. Wireless Network Quality Performance Study—Volume 2 is based on responses from 33,401 wireless customers. In addition to evaluating the network quality experienced by customers with wireless phones, the study also measures the network performance of tablets and mobile broadband devices. The study was fielded from January through June 2019.
