East Bluff Community Get Together, Police Update
The public is invited to attend meetings Aug. 12 in regards to Housing and Urban Development, as well as an update on policing efforts.
From the City of Peoria: Prior to the scheduled meeting for the Consolidated Plan for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) , there will be an East Bluff Community Get Together, featuring an update on policing efforts in the East Bluff by Assistant Chief Michael Mushinsky, at 5p.m on Monday, August 12 at First English Lutheran Church. The public is invited to attend both meetings.
Every five years, the city of Peoria creates its Consolidated Plan for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The plan outlines how the City will use its HUD funds, typically a $2.5 million annual allocation. The City is interested in engaging citizens in the planning process and is hosting four public meetings across Peoria. The East Bluff meeting will be held on Monday, August 12 at 6:00 p.m., following the East Bluff Community Get Together, at First English Lutheran Church, 725 E. Forrest Hill Ave.
