1st Day Of Plainfield Cruise Nights, Themes Announced

Weekly themes will focus on showcasing different car varieties, from Ford Broncos, imports, trucks and Mustangs, among others.

PLAINFIELD, IL — With summer just around the corner, it won't be long until a local-favorite event, Cruise Nights, will return to the streets of downtown Plainfield.

This summer, the Cruise Nights season will kick off June 6 and take place each Tuesday through Aug. 22. Each event will last from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

A different theme will be featured each week, with the exception of July 4, when there won't be a show due to the holiday.

"Hawg Pen" — where bikers can display their prized motorcycles — will also take place each Tuesday on Des Plaines Street during the same timeframe as the main event.

This year, sponsoring companies are Webb Chevy Of Plainfield, D'Arcy Buick GMC, Ron Tirapelli Ford, Aces Classic Cars and Greater Midwest Exteriors.
