2 Geneva Highways Included In Kane County Pavement Marking Project

The construction will require temporary daily lane closures throughout the majority of September, officials said.

GENEVA, IL — Two Geneva highways are included in the Kane County Division of Transportation's annual urethane pavement marking program.

Construction is expected to begin Sept. 5, weather permitting, and last through the end of September.

In Geneva, work will be completed on Fabyan Parkway, from Kingsland Drive to Randall Road, and Randall Road, from Keslinger Road to Route 38.

The project will require temporary daily lane closures from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Overnight work may occur in some areas from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. in order to lessen the impact on traffic, officials said in a news release Thursday.
