2 Taken to Hospital After Plainfield Crash
Plainfield Deputy Fire Chief Jon Stratton said the injuries were minor.

Two females have been sent to Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet after a four-vehicle crash that caused severe backups on Route 59 in Plainfield, according to Plainfield Deputy Fire Chief Jon Stratton.
The crash occurred around 5:15 p.m. south of the intersection of Route 59 and Fort Beggs Drive, Stratton said.
The crash involved four vehicles, according to Stratton, and said three of the vehicles were stopped on the road when the fourth came from behind and started a chain-reaction collision. The females taken to the hospital were for observational purposes and no major injuries occurred. Six other people from the vehicles refused medical attention.
