2nd Annual Rock and Run Fundraiser Oct. 9 in Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield South High School choir will host its second annual Southside Rock & Run fundraiser from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 9.

The 5K will start and end at PSHS, 7800 W. Caton Farm Road, Plainfield. PSHS choir students will provide entertainment.

The entry fee is $30 and includes a race T-shirt for anyone registering by Sept. 26. All proceeds will benefit the PSHS choir.

Parents with strollers and those in wheelchairs are welcome to participate. Overall race awards and awards for winners in each age division will be given after the race.

Race organizers also are looking for sponsors and are offering several tiers in which businesses can contribute. Volunteers also are needed the week of the race.
