3 Village Board Trustee Positions Up For Grabs In April Election

The seats currently held by Harry Benton, Kevin Calkins and Brian Wojowski will be up for election in the Consolidated Election April 4.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Three trustees seats on the Plainfield Village Board are up for grabs in April's Consolidated Election.

The seats available are currently held by Harry Benton, Kevin Calkins and Brian Wojowski. While their seats expire April 20, 2023, Village Clerk Michelle Gibas said she can't confirm if they are running for reelection until petitions are filed.

The three trustees did not respond to Patch's request for comment at the time of publication.

Ahead of the election, which will be held April 4, people interested in filling the trustee seats can begin circulating petitions Tuesday. To receive a petition packet, potential candidates can email Village Clerk Michelle Gibas at mgibas@goplainfield.com.

Interested Plainfield residents will have about three months to circulate their petitions before petition filing takes place from 9 a.m. Dec. 12 to 5 p.m. Dec. 19.
