5K Walk for Shanna's Soldiers Saturday, April 30,2016
This is a community event, 5K walk in Plainfield located at Hammel Woods. This is a fundraiser for a little girl in need.
Meet Shanna
Shanna is a beautiful 8-year-old little girl fighting a germinoma brain tumor which is wrapped around her pituitary gland. Due to this, Shanna has developed diabetes insipidus (where the brains pituitary gland is not naturally producing antidiuretics). Shanna always has a smile on her face, even through the chemo treatments and MRIs. Shanna is a true warrior!
Registration for adults is $25 and $15 for any child 12 and under. Registration also includes a Shanna's Soldiers T-shirt.
Check in begins at 8:30 AM and the walk will begin at 9:15 AM.
