PLAINFIELD, IL — A Shorewood man with a history of drinking under the influence was charged with an aggravated DUI, a felony, on Aug. 4 near Raising Cane's in Plainfield, police said.

An officer pulled over a silver Chevy Equinox around 8:35 p.m. after observing the driver change lanes without signaling. After speaking with the driver, identified as 31-year-old Jacob Miller, the officer believed he was driving under the influence of alcohol, Commander Anthony Novak told Patch.
