All Plainfield Children Now Eligible For Free Meal Pickup

All Plainfield students are now eligible to receive free meals thanks to recent changes in federal regulations.

PLAINFIELD, IL – All Plainfield students are now eligible to receive free meals thanks to recent changes in federal regulations.

In a post on the district's Facebook page Wednesday, school officials announced all students through age 18 are eligible for free curbside meal service regardless of whether they are enrolled in District 202.

Children are now eligible for one week's worth of breakfast and lunch at pick up from 3-5:30 p.m. on Thursdays at nine District 202 schools. Parents and guardians may pick up meals for their children without the children present.

Meals can be picked up at the following sites:

  • Grand Prairie Elementary School
  • Lakewood Falls Elementary School
  • Lincoln Elementary School
  • Drauden Point Middle School
  • Timber Ridge Middle School
  • Central High School
  • East High School
  • North High School
  • South High School

If you are unable to pick up during the scheduled service day, contact Aramark to schedule an appointment for pickup at 815-436-6270.
