About Montessori Education
A Montessori education has been shown to prepare children well for later in life academically, socially and emotionally. They are lifelong learners who are team players, attentive listeners, responsible, focused, goal-oriented, adaptive and show enthusiasm for learning. Montessori children are ranked above average on a multitude of criteria, as well as score well above average on standardized tests. ABOUT MONTESSORI OF PLAINFIELD
Montessori of Plainfield was founded in August of 1998 by Montessori trained teachers and sisters, Mari-Ann Moreno and Linda Mora. The academic preschool and kindergarten are for children ages 3-6 years old. Montessori of Plainfield is a member of the American Montessori Society. Teachers are CPR- and first aid-certified as well.
