PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield Police Department will launch Friday an enforcement campaign for Halloween, officials announced.
During the "Click It or Ticket" initiative, which will last through Nov. 2, police will ensure drivers are buckling up and following traffic laws.
Plainfield police are joining Illinois State Police and law enforcement agencies across the state for the campaign.
"If you're planning to partake in Halloween festivities, make sure you have a safe, sober ride home, and remember, 'It's Not a Game,'" police wrote in a news release.
