Beyond Bookkeepers moves home to Plainfield

When Plainfield resident, Susan Deal, founded SK Consulting Services in 1999 the business was operated out of her home and she was the only employee.  SK Consulting was a small consulting firm offering QuickBooks consulting and Bookkeeping services.  Before launching her business, Susan grew up in an entrepreneurial family. Susan’s childhood saw her parents and other family members struggle with the challenges of running their small businesses. Over the years, Susan realized how important her work was to small business owners. She realized that Outsourced Bookkeeping Services were very different from the traditional CPA services that most CPA firms offer. She also realized that if her family had someone like her giving them the information that she was providing her clients then her family businesses would have been much more successful and much less stressful.  In January of 2006, Susan joined a partner and launched Beyond Bookkeepers, Inc. in order to offer her Bookkeeping and QuickBooks Services on a much larger scale. Beyond Bookkeepers was founded with the mission to help small business owners.  Susan developed and trained a staff of accountants, and bookkeepers to service small businesses. Since the business began, the goal at Beyond Bookkeepers is to help business owners gain greater control over their business by teaching the business owners to utilize their time and information effectively to develop more successful businesses.  As a compromise with her partner, Beyond Bookkeepers was first located in Burr Ridge.  However, as soon as Susan bought out her partner last year, she made plans to move the business to Plainfield.  Beyond Bookkeepers recently moved its office to Plainfield, and Susan is very happy to now both live and work in Plainfield.  Having her business so close to home has allowed Susan to focus more on both her business and her family. 

Beyond Bookkeepers offers full-service Outsourced Bookkeeping.  With its full-service support, their team provides all of the resources of a big business accounting department to small businesses. By doing this, they can offer their clients resources and financial information normally not available to small business owners.  They customize each service package based on each client's individual needs.  Their fees are based on the scope of support each client needs.  From their offices in Plainfield, they handle all of the day to day accounting and bookkeeping functions for small businesses.  Beyond Bookkeepers either adds to or completely replaces an in-house bookkeeping staff.  “BEYOND” the day-to-day bookkeeping, they also prepare custom financial reports for each client and help the business owner use the information in those reports as a business tool to make more informed business decisions.  Beyond Bookkeepers takes pride in helping their clients become more successful business owners.
