When you visit Kappelman Dermatology, you can expect a warm environment, educated staff, personable physician and a smile.  Board-Certified Dermatologist, Jessica Kappelman, J.D., M.P.H. opened the practice in October after previously working in a private practice and is proud to bring high-quality dermatological care to the Plainfield area.  She specializes in general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and has special interests in pediatric dermatology, dermatoscopy and skin cancer.

Dr. Kappelman treats a wide range of hair, skin and nail disorders, such as acne, age spots, warts, hair loss, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, pigmentation and more and is also committed to preventive care, with routine skin screenings.  Dr. Kappelman performs minor surgical dermatology procedures, such as the treatment and removal of cysts, skin cancers, lipomas, moles, birthmarks or scars and offers a wide range of cosmetic procedures for the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles, including chemical peels, Botox and fillers.

All treatments are performed in the comfort of Dr. Kappelman’s welcoming office, which offers modern, organic décor and beautiful photography from locations across Illinois.  Her office is also almost entirely paperless and dedicated to patient convenience.  All initial paperwork is available online to avoid additional wait-time, and Dr. Kappelman also utilizes a patient portal, where you can view your diagnosis, receive educational information pertaining to your diagnosis and view copies of your pathology reports.
