Autumn Family Fun Fest, Scarecrow Decorating in Oct.
Plainfield Park District's Autumn Family Fun Fest and Scarecrow Decorating Contest return on Oct. 5 to Eaton Preserve.

The Plainfield Park District will host its annual Autumn Family Fun Fest on October 5 at Eaton Preserve, 23601 W. 135th St.
Events for the day include hayrides, a prairie maze, inflatables, face painting, games, and crafts.
Children who pre-register can also pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch inside the prairie maze.

Participants can cast their ballots for their favorite scarecrows competing in the Plainfield Parks Scarecrow Decorating Contest during their hayride (see below.)
The event is for ages 2 & up w/ responsible adult.

- Cost is $12 for resident child/$15 non-resident child/$3 per adult// $2 for resident adult/$3 non-resident adult
- Onsite registration $15R/$19NR per child/ $3 for resident adult/$4 non-resident adult
- Decorated scarecrows can be dropped off at PARC on Oct. 3 voting will take place at Autumn Family Fun Fest.
- Concessions will be available for purchase
Scarecrow Decorating Contest
Scarecrow frames for the decorating contest can be picked up between Sept. 20-Oct. 3 at PARC, 24550 W. Renwick Rd.
Each frame is $15.
Decorated scarecrows can be dropped off at PARC on Oct. 3 with voting taking place at Autumn Family Fun Fest.
