Back To School: Plainfield 2022-23 School Calendar

PLAINFIELD, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Plainfield, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Plainfield Community Unit School District 202.

The first day of school for most students in Plainfield is Aug. 18.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its two-and-a-half-year point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Plainfield.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year in District 202:

First Day: Aug. 18

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23-25

Winter Break: Dec. 23-Jan. 9

Spring Break: April 3-7

Last Day: May 25
