Betty Jean Sacco, 85, of Crest Hill, IL
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Betty will be remembered for the love she shared with family and friends.
Betty J. Sacco, nee Tillman, age 85, a resident of Crest Hill, IL since 1991, passed away on September 15, 2024. She was born on November 24, 1938 in Rogersville, MO, the daughter of Veda and Harry Tillman.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Thomas Sacco; her loving sons, Jeffery (Diane) Sacco and James (Patti) Sacco; her cherished grandchildren, Patrick (Misty Wessing) Kelly, Bernadette (Matt) Blaser, Rose (Cole Czajka) Sacco, Lacey (Nathan) Sacco Colstock and Alexander (Karly) Sacco; her adored great-grandchildren, Creighton and Rylie Blaser, and Thomas Sacco; her dear sister, Judy (Kent) Hollingsworth and sister-in-law, Fran (Gene) Cline; as well as her aunt, Shirley Karas, and her niece, Kathy (Bob) Gato. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim, Ed and Kenny Tillman.
Betty was a gifted artist who loved to paint. She fought a good fight against the many health challenges she faced over the years, including breast cancer, heart disease, Parkinson’s disease and dementia. Betty cherished her family and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to either the Alzheimer’s Association, National Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
