Bird Found At Target Reunited With Family: Plainfield Police
The bird was separated from its family for two months, Plainfield police said.

PLAINFIELD, IL — Thanks to the power of social media, a cockatiel that was on the fly for about two months was reunited with its family, Plainfield police said.
Officials took to Facebook Tuesday morning to ask for the community's help locating Mango, a gray and yellow bird that was found at Target.
"Poor thing probably 'went in for only one thing,'" police wrote in the post.

The cockatiel hung out with police while social media users went to work — the department's post was shared more than 100 times and received more than 1,300 reactions.
About 1.5 hours later, police updated the post to share the good news: "Mango has been reunited with his family after 2 months on the fly! Welcome home Mango!"
