Best In The Biz- Wide Receivers.
Here are who I think are the five best wide receivers in the game today. Enjoy.

1. Calvin Johnson- He’s the NFL’s LeBron James. He has a very rare display of size, speed, strength, agility and phenomenal hand-eye coordination. Calvin, or Megatron as we all know him as is in the prime of his career and will probably be atop this list for a while. He runs each and every route consistently and catches everything thrown in his direction. For a Lions team that struggled a season ago after a playoff appearance, Tron was the only shining point for this team. When the Lions won the games they did last year, he was always at the top of the stat sheet.Playing him single man to man coverage is not going to stop this pro bowler. You can double him and he will still make plays. Calvin Johnson could be one of the best ever when it’s all said and done.
2. Larry Fitzgerald- Despite not having a quarterback, Fitz always seems to put up numbers. He’s the closest thing to a legend in Cris Carter. I see so many similarities between the two of them when I watch Larry Fitzgerald play. Larry is a possession wide receiver as Cris was and Larry is also a red zone threat as well. The one thing that stands out to me about his game is his ability to stretch the field and move around in motion. He can line up outside and in the slot and still be effective. When he catches the ball, the only thing he’s thinking is the end zone and 6 points.

3. Brandon Marshall- He’s made comparisons to Terrell Owens. He was even given the nickname “baby T.O.” by Jon Gruden. Brandon Marshall is a year in and year out 1,000 yard receiver. He’s a big time threat that makes defenses really think twice before stepping out on the field to defend him. Brandon is a guy who can quietly catch 10-12 passes and have 150-160 yards in any game. He was Cutler’s go to guy in Denver and now that the two have reunited in Chicago, these two haven’t missed a beat at all.

4. Roddy White- I’ve been extremely high on Roddy for quite some time. He’s a playmaker and that’s what stands out about him. Get him the ball and watch what he does. He along with Julio Jones have formed arguably the best wide receiver duo in the NFL. Roddy has been Matt’s go to guy for years now. He’s quick, has good hands and has excellent footwork to compliment his style of play in a fast paced Falcons offense.
5. Andre Johnson- At one time he was atop this list for quite some time. Injuries have limited him but he still comes to work and plays football. Andre Johnson maybe older now but he’s still an elite wide receiver to me. You can triple team this guy and he’ll still find a way to come down with the football somehow, someway. He’s one of the focal points on a Texans offense that displays much balance with Arian Foster.
