Plainfield UMC to Offer Daniel Plan for a Healthier You
Looking to lose weight, reduce cholesterol and blood pressure, and achieve your personal health goals? Find support and encouragement in this community and faith-based approach.
Many of us feel a little out of balance: we are overloaded, ovestressed, overworked, and overweight, and we don’t really know how to get back in balance.
Plainfield United Methodist Church is excited to bring you the Daniel Plan, a community and faith-based healthy living program designed by Pastor Rick Warren, author of The Purpose Driven Life, along with the help of celebrity doctors and authors Mark Hyman, Daniel Amen and Mehmet Oz (often better known as TV's Dr. Oz).
The Daniel Plan is about helping you get your life back in balance. It’s about helping us, within a small group setting, find the pathway to good health. By making healthy choices and applying them, your life can be significantly changed. You will feel better and enjoy increased energy and confidence. Plus, you will develop the stamina necessary to fulfill your God-given mission here on Earth. The Daniel Plan is designed to help you succeed. You’ll be taking things one step at a time as you move steadily toward better health and quickly discover that small changes equal big results! This program is open to the community.
