Brothers Earn Eagle Scout Award

Scouts

Zachary P. Maulding, and Kaleb S. Maulding, of Plainfield IL, have both achieved Boy Scouting's highest rank advancement of Eagle Scout.

The brothers have each been active in scouting since first grade. Throughout their scouting careers they have been members of Pack 85, Pack 13, and Troop 13.

In addition to holding necessary leadership positions and fulfilling merit badge requirements, a service project benefiting the community is required for the rank of Eagle. Zachary fundraised and lead the construction of a limestone path for volunteers walking dogs at the Will County Humane Society, and Kaleb’s project was improving on existing structures and the building of an additional activities platform for the Little Sprouts Early Learning program located at the Pilcher Park Nature Center in Joliet, IL.
