Channahon Independence Day Celebration 2026

Celebrate America's 250th anniversary with a free evening of music, food trucks, and patriotic fun culminating in a spectacular fireworks display. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy a live concert by Sundance and receive commemorative giveaways while supplies last.

As part of this year's celebration, we will host a special presentation commemorating America's 250th anniversary. Join us as we sing "Happy Birthday" to America and celebrate this historic milestone together.

Commemorative giveaways will be available in honor of the 250th anniversary while supplies last. In the event of inclement weather, a decision will be made by noon on July 3 regarding postponement. Please watch the Channahon Park District's Facebook page for the most up-to-date event information.

• 6-9 p.m.: Food trucks
• 6-9:15 p.m.: Concert in the park featuring Sundance
• 9:15 p.m.: Fireworks display
