Frank Rossi Free Concert brings Polkas, 50s Hits, and Joey's Red Hots Food Truck - Timbers

The Timbers of Shorewood invites the community to the next free summer concert featuring acclaimed musician Frank Rossi. The concert takes place at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 3, at The Timbers of Shorewood, located at 1100 North River Road, Shorewood. The event is free and open to the public.
FOOD TRUCK UPDATE: Joey's Red Hots Food Truck will be onsite from 5 – 7 p.m.
UPDATE: Due to the heat, the concert will be moved indoors.
Frank Rossi, performing on accordion and keyboard, will fill the evening air with a lively variety of polkas, hits from the 1950s, and current favorites. Rossi was named the 2010 recipient of the Order Sons of Italy Leonardo da Vinci Award of Excellence in Performing Arts and frequently performs at fine dining establishments throughout the Chicagoland area.
“Frank Rossi is one of our absolute favorite entertainers here at the Timbers,” said, Sheila Albor, director of marketing. “Having him perform on our patio is always a very special treat for the community. We welcome everyone to come out, bring a blanket and/or a lawn chair, and enjoy a wonderful evening of live music.”
Upcoming summer concerts at the Timbers:
- 1:30 p.m., Thursday, July 16 – Del Bergeson Orchestra (Big Band)
- 2 p.m., Thursday, July 23 – Hearts of Zagreb (Traditional Croatian Folklore Dance Group) Note: This specific performance will be hosted inside the main Ballroom.
- 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 25 – Cloggin’ Craze (New Lenox Clogging Dance Group)
