Wags 2 Wellness Veterinary Care Center is proud to announce the official opening of its new Low-Cost Veterinary Care Center on Monday, August 10, 2026, bringing affordable, high-quality veterinary services to Minooka, Channahon, Shorewood and the surrounding communities.
Created with the belief that every pet deserves access to quality veterinary care, Wags 2 Wellness is committed to making preventative care, routine wellness and many surgical procedures more accessible for families, rescue organizations and the animals who depend on them.
The new veterinary care center will offer a wide variety of services, including:
General wellness exams and checkups, Spay and neuter surgeries, Dental cleanings and oral surgery, Dental X-rays, Ultrasound, Echocardiograms (echos), Amputations, Eye surgeries (including enucleations, cherry eye repair, and entropion correction), Gastropexy, Cystotomy (bladder surgery), Exploratory surgery, Mass removals, Heartworm treatment, And MANY additional veterinary services.
As a high-volume, low-cost practice, Wags 2 Wellness is designed to help more pets receive the care they need while keeping services affordable. In addition to serving pet owners, animal rescue organizations are encouraged to partner with Wags 2 Wellness to provide affordable medical care for animals in their programs.
