Camp Read S’More Kicks Off June 3 at Plainfield Library

Whether you’re reading under the stars or “glamping” at home with your favorite book, Camp Read S’More has an adventure for you. Registration begins June 3. Over the course of this eight-week program, participate in camp-inspired programs and achieve your reading goals by July 27 to win prizes. The last day to register is July 13.

Kona Shaved Ice Truck: June 5 to 7, 10 a.m. to noon

Enjoy a shaved ice after you sign up for Summer Reading! Each day from 10AM to 12PM Kona Ice will be here in the Library Parking Lot. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Library.

Last Day of Camp! July 27, Drop-in between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Camp Read S’More concludes with a one-of-a-kind obstacle course for families. An indoor course will be offered for the littlest ones while the bigger kids can test their speed and agility on our outdoor course. Cool off with a sweet treat from Kona Ice.
