Celebrate Candlelight Christmas in Downtown Plainfield Nov. 29

The public is invited to celebrate the season early this year at Candlelight Christmas on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. in downtown Plainfield.

Several downtown businesses will come together to provide entertainment options for the community, including pictures with Santa, an opportunity to meet the “Snow Sisters,” a showing of the movie, “Frozen,” carriage rides, crafts, a dance performance, writing letters to Santa, and a crèche lighting.

The full schedule is as follows:

· 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Hand cut children’s silhouettes by Cassidy Alexander at Sweet Pea & Me Boutique

· 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m. Crafting at the Plainfield Park District in the Lower Level Professional Building

· 3:30 p.m. YMCA Dancers at the YMCA

· 4 p.m. Plainfield North Madrigals at the Plainfield Public Library

· 4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. Showing of the movie, “Frozen,” at the YMCA; Reindeer food craft at the YMCA

· 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Pictures with Santa at Gourmet Junction

· 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Letters to Santa at Barvian Realty

· 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Meet the Snow Sisters at the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce

· 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Carriage rides in downtown Plainfield

· 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Complimentary wine tasting at Wine and Cheese by TCC

· 7 p.m. Crèche Lighting at Plymouth Congregational Church
