Plainfield Man Charged with Child Porn after Filming Teen Couple Having Sex
Joliet police say the teens, who are 16 and dating, gave Jesus Lemus, 24, permission to take the X-rated photos and videos on several occasions.

A man who used a cell phone to tape and photograph two underage teens having sex in the back of his van has been arrested and charged with child pornography.
Jesus A. Lemus, 24, of 6416 Denali Ridge Drive, apparently had an agreement with the 16-year-old boy in which he allowed Lemus to take photos and film of him and his 16-year-old girlfriend while having sex on numerous occasions, Joliet Police Lt. Brian Dupuis said.
Police discovered the situation when Lemus was spotted at about 2:10 a.m. Jan. 3 sitting in a 2001 Town & Country van parked at Daly Lane and Townsend Drive in the Cumberland subdivision, near Caton Farm and County Line roads, Dupuis said. When he was observed hiding something in the van, they decided to investigate, he said.

In the rear of the van, police discovered the two naked teens and confiscated Lemus' cell phone, he said.
Initially, Lemus was charged with sexual exploitation of a child. That charge was upgraded to one count of making child pornography, a Class 1 felony, and a second count of possessing child pornography, a Class 2 felony, Dupuis said.

Lemus was arrested Tuesday and is being held at the Will County jail in lieu of $150,000 bond.
The felony charges were based on the images forensic police were able to recover from Lemus' phone. A warrant-authorized search of Lemus' home, where he lives with his parents, turned up no additional evidence. It's not known if Lemus was keeping the photos and video for his own use or posting them online, Dupuis said.
Lemus and the male victim have known each other for about 12 years, he said. The male victim has been uncooperative so there's not a lot known about why he would allow the X-rated images to be made, Dupuis said.
