Commissioner Chosen To Fill Vacancy On Plainfield Park District Board
Debra Narducci's appointment fills the term of former commissioner Rob Ayres, who died May 12.

PLAINFIELD, IL — A new member has been appointed to the Plainfield Park District Board of Commissioners, officials announced. Debra Narducci will fill the seat of former Commissioner Rob Ayres, who died May 12, after serving on the Board for 7 years.
Narducci was formally inducted during the Board's regular meeting July 13 at the Prairie Activity and Recreation Center. The term expires in 2023.
Officials said the new commissioner comes to the position with a leadership background in accounting and business management in both corporate and nonprofit sectors. She currently serves as the controller for A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter in Naperville.

Prior to her time at the adoption center in Naperville, Narducci worked as controller at Maul Paving, accounting supervisor at Toyal America, Inc., finance director at the Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce, and controller and human resources manager at Waldman Engineering.
Narducci also has 18 years of homeowners association board experience, has collaborated with board directors on multiple projects, and has served on a park district master plan committee, according to a Plainfield Park District news release.

Along with her husband and two daughters, Narducci has resided within Plainfield Park District boundaries for 18 years.
