Craft Day at Montessori of Plainfield

ANNUAL HOLIDAY TRADITION Volunteer Parents and Grandparents Craft with Students on Holiday Craft Day!

Prior to breaking for our winter holiday, Montessori of Plainfield carries on their annual tradition of Holiday Craft Day! We invite volunteer parents and/or grandparents to visit the classroom and share their crafting skills with the children.
The purpose of this annual celebration is to instill the idea that 'giving is just as fun as receiving' during the holiday season.
Each volunteer comes prepared with a craft for each child to make and a gift bag to package up their creation. Regardless of which holiday a student celebrates, each craft is winter-themed so it's appropriate for gift giving to their families.

Not only do the students look forward to our holiday break, they also look forward to Holiday Craft Day and expanding their creative minds.
