Crash Shuts Down Northbound Route 59: Plainfield Police
Police are asking drivers to avoid the intersection with 135th Street due to a crash.
PLAINFIELD, IL — A section of northbound Route 59 is shut down Tuesday afternoon in Plainfield due to a crash, police said.
The collision occurred at the intersection of 135th Street and Route 59, police said in an alert published at 3:27 p.m. on Facebook. The intersection is temporarily closed as a result.
"Please avoid these intersections and consider alternate routes," officials said.
