Crystal Lawns Teachers are “Ba Da Ba Ba Bah, Lovin' it”
Crystal Lawns Elementary School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to help raise money for the school's PTA.
Plainfield|Crystal Lawns Elementary School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to help raise money for the school's PTA.
Administrators, Teachers, and support staff from Crystal Lawns volunteered behind the counter on Thursday, November 14th, 2019, at the Plainfield McDonald's located on S. Route 59. Where they served students and their families in a fundraiser.
The Crystal Lawns staff members and PTA board worked various jobs throughout the restaurant during this three-hour fundraising event. These jobs included, wearing an apple pie costume, apple pie seller, making ice cream treats, Front counter helper, delivering meals to customers, calling out orders, and working the drive-thru.

The proceeds from the 240 Apple Pies sold went directly to benefit the Schools PTA. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were also donated directly to the Crystal Lawns PTA, who plan to put the funds raised towards items needed for the school such as new water fountains and smart boards.
Nick Kory, Owner/Operator of the Plainfield (Renwick) McDonald's is delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.

"We are proud to serve the families of the Crystal Lawns community through the McTeacher's Night event," Kory continued. "In addition to helping provide financial support for our local schools, we help students feel connected to their school, their teachers and their sense of community."
