Cubs Games Come on Too Late for Plainfield Girl, So She Writes to MLB Commissioner

The little girl has to go to bed by 7:30 or 8 p.m.

PLAINFIELD, IL — An 8-year-old Plainfield girl just loves watching the Chicago Cubs play, but sometimes she has to go to bed before she can see it. So, she took matters into her own hands.

Lily Klosowski was unable to watch the last two Cubs games because of a late start, according to a report from WGN TV. To remedy that, she appealed to MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred to start the games earlier.

Dear Commissioner,
I really love watching the Cubs games. But I have to go to bed at 7:30 or 8:00. Could you please put some of the Cubs games on at latter than 4:00 or earlier than 7:00? Thanks!
From,
Lily Marie Klosowski

According to WGN, it’s unknown if the parents will send out the letter.
