Karen Wells, our on-site owner, recently dressed in an authentic African dress to read “An African Princess,” by Lyra Edmonds, to our students. Focusing on the author's own childhood, the book tells the story of a young girl on a quest to discover her family's true royal heritage. The children in our Plainfield preschool truly loved hearing about a completely different culture from their own!
