Dale W. Conrad, age 87, a longtime resident of Plainfield, IL, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2018 at Alden Courts of Shorewood. He was born on April 10, 1931 in Aurora, IL.
Dale is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Patricia (nee Reed); his loving children, Connie (Ray) Connelly of Random Lake, Wisconsin, Jeff (Peggie) Conrad of Joliet, IL, Greg (Darlene) Conrad of Plainfield, IL, Deb Bowen of Plainfield, IL, Keith (Diane) Conrad of Plainfield, IL and Karla (Jon) Stratton of Plainfield, IL; his nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; and his brother, Bob Conrad; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Agnes Conrad and sister, Elaine (the late George) Blatner.

Visitation will be Monday, July 9, 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, corner of Routes 30 & 59, Plainfield. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 10 at 10:30 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2500 Arbeiter Road, Joliet.
