Dance Your Summer Cares Away with Plainfield Park District Dance Classes!

The Plainfield Park District Dance program offers summer classes for all age groups! These classes are for children looking for fun and to learn the basics of dance. Children will dance at the annual July 3 Patriotic Picnic and Fireworks celebration. Classes begin first week of June. All classes located at the Streams Recreation Center, 24319 Cedar Creek Ln., Plainfield.

Girls Hip Hop for ages 4-10 years old (program #58305): Hip hop is for the dancer who loves music and wants to move. It improves coordination and helps build confidence while teaching rhythm and modern music appreciation. Comfortable clothing and clean gym shoes are required. Cost is R$47/NR $59 per child.

Pom Dance for ages 4-9 years old (program #58306) Pom dance is a form of dance combining jazz and hip hop moves. Dancers will learn basic techniques of poms and dance. Comfortable clothing and jazz shoes are required. Pom poms will be provided. Cost is R$47/NR $59 per child.

Jazz/Hip Hop for ages 4-6 years old (program #58307) Dancers will learn both jazz and hip hop combinations in this fun and energetic class. Comfortable clothing and jazz shoes are required. Cost is R$47/NR $59 per child.

Boys Hip Hop for ages 4-6 years old (program #58307) Boys will learn choreographed combinations and hip hop steps. It improves coordination and helps build confidence while teaching rhythm and modern music appreciation. Comfortable clothing and clean gym shoes are required. Cost is R$47/NR $59 per child.
