District To Use Online System For Summer School

According to the release from the Plainfield School District 202, registrations must be completed by May 22 due to limited space.

PLAINFIELD, IL — The Plainfield School District 202 announced in a news release that summer school classes will be offered using Edgenuity, a computer-based software program, due to the Illinois stay-at-home order.

All courses meet the rigor of common core, state standards, and District 202 graduation requirements. Each student will receive an individualized calendar, target goals, and assignments to help transition to a full online class. Parents/guardians will also all receive login information to monitor each student’s progress and attendance.

Only students who live within District 202 school boundaries can enroll in a summer school class because of limited space. Once the session limit is reached, students will be denied final registration.
