Low-lying line near Hunt Club Lane and Route 126 causes traffic delays.

Traffic was being rerouted Tuesday morning in the area of Hunt Club Lane and Route 126 near Essington Road due to a low-lying power line, Plainfield fire officials said.
The road was closed as fire officials waited for ComEd crews to arrive on the scene.
Just before 10 a.m., Deputy Fire Chief Jon Stratton said the road had reopened, but traffic remained backed up.
