DOWNTOWN TOUR BY THE PLAINFIELD HISTORICAL SOCIETY
Enjoy an evening, guided walking tour and a couple glasses of your favorite wine at Wine & Cheese in downtown Plainfield, IL.
Enjoy a whimsical, adult version of the third grade school tours of downtown Plainfield, Illinois. Hear about comical and sometimes controversial stories from the history of Plainfield. This will be a great night out for mom and dad, or a date night, and to enjoy up to two glasses of wine and hors d'oeuvres, as part of the ticket price. Those that sign up will gather at Wine & Cheese, at 24104 W. Lockport Street, Plainfield, IL at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, July 27. The guided tour will begin at about 7:45 pm and will last approximately 45 minutes. Drink substitutions will be accepted. tickets are limited and can be purchased online at http://www.phstours.myevent.com. Ticket price is $25/person for PHS members and $30/person for non-members.
