PLAINFIELD, IL - Five candidates are vying for four spots on the Plainfield Public Library District Board of Trustees, including one newcomer.

Incumbents Vicki Knight, Patricia Miller and Jason Puetz did not respond to Patch's attempt to reach out with the candidate questionnaire.

The library district has also placed a building bond and operating rate referendum on the ballot.
