The Plainfield Harvest 5K Run/Walk will be held at Des Plaines and Chicago streets, one block south of Lockport Street.
Registration will begin at 6:45 a.m., with the run/walk at 9 a.m. and the kids’ one-mile run to take place at 8 a.m. Pre-registration is available online.
A post-race party will occur and prizes will be awarded to top finishers.
Some of the event proceeds will benefit charities.
