Police Host DARE Pool Party Aug. 9

Plainfield Students entering sixth through ninth grades are invited to the 16th Annual DARE Pool Party from 6:00 to 8:30 pm on Thursday, Aug.  9 at the Ottawa Street Pool, 23820 W. Ottawa St., Plainfield.

The event, which will include swimming, a DJ for dancing, pizza and pop, is sponsored by the Village of Plainfield, Plainfield Park District, Target and Hyper Entertainment.

Although there is no admission fee, pre-registration is required by Monday, Aug. 6.

Registration forms may be picked up and returned to the Plainfield Police Department, Park District Offices or pool on Ottawa Street, the Plainfield Public Library circulation desk, C.W. Avery YMCA or Plainfield Village Hall.
