Plainfield- All prospective future John F. Kennedy Middle School Falcon cheerleaders are invited to show their spirit at JFK's second annual cheerleading clinic.
The JFK cheerleading squad is hosting a cheer camp from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, January 7, 2011, at the school, 12350 South Essington Road, Plainfield.
All first through fifth grade girls from Elizabeth Eichelberger, Creekside and Liberty elementary schools and all sixth grade girls at JFK Middle School are invited to attend.
From 5-7 p.m. the JFK Falcon cheerleaders will team up to teach each grade level a different routine that will include a cheer, a chant, and a dance.
Then at 7:15 p.m., each grade level will perform their routine for parents and friends as well as one large group performance. To conclude the evening, the JFK cheerleaders will perform their competition routine.
All participants will receive a JFK junior cheerleader t-shirt, and a Kennedy cheerleader drawstring backpack filled with a bottle of water, a small snack, a performance program, a participation certificate and cookies.
Interested participants should fill out a clinic form, available in the main office of their school, and return it with a $25 participation fee by Thursday, December 16, 2010.
