Friends of the Plainfield Park District Foundation needs your help

Who we are and what we do!

To our community friends,

As a member of the Executive Board of the Friends of the Plainfield Park District Foundation, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the community for its continued support of our Wine and Beer Tasting. The donations of time, talents, and goods from many community members allow this event to be a huge success. Each year, the proceeds from this event allow us to provide support for those who need financial assistance to enjoy Park District’s activities and programs.

As Foundation members, we take pride in being able to assist the Park District as they provide a wide range of services to our community. The Foundation is seeking passionate people to come grow with us as we expand the scope of our projects to benefit the Plainfield Park District’s offerings.

Did you know… the Foundation supports the annual Easter egg hunt? This event serves over 500 children. In addition the Foundation supports the annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony, which was attended by over 600 people in 2016.

To continue assisting the Park District in its mission to enhance lives through quality recreation opportunities, we are seeking volunteers to join the Foundation and help make a difference in the community. Whether it is to volunteer your time, talent, or financial support, we need your help.
