All of our parents, students, and educators had a great time at the St. Patrick's Day parade in downtown Plainfield this past Sunday. Our Goddard school bus was all decked-out in it's finest green and gold decorations. Even our old pal Clifford made an appearance!
Despite the frigid temperatures, we were glad to see so many folks turn up to support their town and local businesses. Seeing their smiling faces as our students passed out candy makes our whole Goddard family feel blessed to have such a supportive community. We even had several inquiries about new families signing their children up for our Shorewood IL preschool programs!
Afterwards, all our hard-working parade walkers enjoyed some toasty beverages back at our school. It was just in time for our students to set a trap for a pesky leprechaun that's been stalking our classrooms for some time. Maybe we'll catch him next year!
